Unprecedented flooding has left over 100 residents in Western Europe dead.

At least 1000 people are unaccounted for

In Germany alone, over 90 people have died – making it one of the worst natural disasters since World War II.

Belgium is the second worst hit by the floods, followed by the Netherlands.

Scientists have described this disaster as a “manifestation of climate change.”

Homes, public installations, power stations and telecommunication facilities have been destroyed.

Flood waters continue to rise.
