On April 22, Team members at Weston Bend State Park in Missouri will celebrate this year’s Earth Day.
The general public can flock to the Park from 3-5 p.m. Friday, April 22 and get the “dirt” on earth!
Participants can collect nature decorations, create your very own mud birthday cake and hear park team members share facts about local soil and geology, and discuss the history of Earth Day.
A statement from the Park management says that interested participants should meet at the paved trail parking lot and wear clothing that you don’t mind getting muddy.
The public is also strongly encouraged to follow social-distancing guidelines and be proactive in protecting themselves and others.
